The group provides safe and punctual transportation for the students of the greater East Gaston community. ln ad- dition to the actual driving, the drivers per' form numerous chores, They must keep the buses clean, maintain order while students are aboard, check periodically for safety de- fects, and maintain accurate records of their driving distances. The North Carolina Vocational Industri- al Club of America is also known as the North Carolina VICA Club. VICA is de- signed for all students of trade and indus- trial education to develop and build skills. VICA raised money by recycling cans and held a car wash.
