ARTICLE l To the administrative staff, principal, advisers, and members of the faculty, we leave our most prized possessions: all grounds and equipment together with their myriad of rules and regulations, do's and don'ts, to have and to hold and to dispose as they in their fortitudinous manner see Bt. Muriel Broome wishes to leave her position as assistant to the assistant assistant office secretary to Lucille Glenn and Betty Deitz. Bobby Burgess leaves his luck in love, be it good or bad, to Bobby McCluney. Mack Bynum leaves a bottle of peroxide to Donald Lawing with complete instructions for its use. Ray Campbell leaves to Howard Tate his manly physique. Andy Carpenter wills his quiet manner and ability to get along with all the teachers to Martin Holloway. Sara Cloninger wills to jean Gowan all the engagements she was unable to keep. Maybe jean will find time for all of them. Delores Coleman wills her very quiet manner and refined ways to Catherine Helton. Carl Cox wanted to leave his two front teeth to Dickv Carpenter in case he might need them some davg but it took Carl so lon to get the teeth that the class persuaded him to keep them. jon Edwards leaves liis melodious voice to Donald Sigmon and Covte Riley. Frances Farris bequeaths to Malvena Davidson her way of iust getting hy. une Fortner leaves her iolly disposition to Susan Helton, since neither cares for the silent type. o Mason Hudspeth and Donald Beatty, Henry Fowler leaves his love for a good friendly argument. Bette Garrison leaves her famous snarls expression to Frances Sigmon. Nancy Greene leaves all secrets conveyed to her to Pat Gardner to keep along with hers. Gerald Guice bequeaths a small part of his industriousness to Dean Broome and Eugene Sigmon. Luther Hall leaves his good looks to Ronald Estridge and Bill Craig. jo Rita llarkcy wills to joyce Matkins and Daphne Nash all her shv and bashful ways. In hope that they make better use of it than she did, joanne Helms leaves her little book on the art of cutting class to joanne Cline and Norma Roberts. Louise Holdsclaw wills her dark features to Ruth Murphy. Barbara Hollar wills her position on all poster committees to Ann Mclntosh and Peggy Nixon. To Ruby Stilwell, Margie Huffstetler leaves her love for showering out diction so fast that no one but she could possibly keep up. Dorothy Huit leaves her mischievous ways to Laura Mae Forbes and Doris Morris. Carl jackson leaves his ability to be such a pest to Lewis Vilallace and Aldean Elmore. Rachel jones bequeaths the vacancy left by her on the basketball team to Marv Ruth Biddix and Lucille Helms. She realizes it will take two to fill it. Bennett Kistler leaves his love, regard, and high opinion of himself to Roger Spittle. Nan Lathan and Delores Rhyne leave their love for one man to Billie Barrett. Donnie Lucky leaves to Rea Hager her pretty blond hair. no doubt to make her envious. To limily Kelly, Pat McDonald leaves his love for hillbilly music. Louise McManus leaves the enioyment she gets from life and her loud way of showing it to Patsy Warren. Carl Moore wills to VVarren Morris and George Perkins one of his cars, so that they can get to school on time as he always did. Milton Morris leaves to Ray Morris his ability to hop up cars and win races. Lonnie Norwood leaves his crutches to Gene Hendrix, who may find some use for them after next vear's football season. Since Ann Painter is always in such a rush, she would like to leave a little of her energy to Maude Hartscll. Pat Patterson leaves her hatred of all the male sex to Helen Kirby. jake Rhyne wills to james Cogdill his way with the women. jo Anne Sigman leaves her beautiful soprano voice to Estelle YVard. Bub Sine leaves to Mr. Dixon any practical iokes he may have overlooked or failed to use in his classes. Perry Spittle leaves to Glenn Howard all his speedy ways. jerry Smith leaves to VVarren Morris the sacred duty of taking care of a certain sophomore. To Betty Bell, Ruth Stone leaves her ability to laugh even though nothing is funny. john Robinson wills his ability to defy the monitors to Harold Bumgardner and Ralph Hamilton. Pherdilia VVillard leaves the innocent look of hers to Ronald Medders in hope that he can get by with one thing before he graduates. David Wright leaves all his aches and pains to Paul Dunn, along with the best remedies for them. Ted VValdrop bequeaths to Dennis Herring all his charm and personality. 6? CLASS PROPHECY The alumni of the class of 1951 will again hold their annual reunion at the Waldorf-Astoria. Each member will give a review of his accomplishments. Our first speaker will be Captain B. J. Abercrombie, who, without our permission, will lecture for three and one half hours on How to Fly a Terraplanef' Jean Abemethv will sing a few selections from her latest picture, Jeannie With the Voice Off-Key. Monsieur Rav Abernathy is preparing to give an ex- hibition of his fine work as hair stylist for Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer. Girls, grab your big chance to make Hollywood. Jack Barrett's contribution to the annual reunion will be a tour of the United States on his Get-up-and-Go bus line. Our last plea is, Bring us back alive, Jack! Bobby Blankenship will show us his pet smitty. Since he is head salesman for Western Auto, he gets a commission for selling twin smitties. Bob's leisure time is spent getting his customers out of iail. Billie Bostic will read the introduction of her latest book, Love Is Where You Find It! Others on the program will be: David Wright, who now owns the Wright Airfield at Kitty Hawk, N. C. Last Hal1owe'en night he was cruising around in his ancestors' first airplane when suddenly he crashed with Muriel Broome, who was flying low nn her Magic Broom. She did own the Magic Broom Factory at Alfalfa, S. C. Bobby Burgess, who has now solved that Al Capone- Mickey Cohen Case. He shot Mickey at his apartment and put Al in prison for life. Mack Bynum, who has combined all his old cartoon lgvooks to form one of his own! Laff a Day, Month, or ear. Milton Morris, who has taken the position of Chief of Police of the New York Police Force. Since he has such a horror of fast driving, I'm sure he will be a success there. Jake Rhyne, who is now fashion editor for Tate-Brown. His latest review for Sunday wearing is red corduroy pants and a yellow shirt. For week days he prefers pastel colored shirts, drape pants, iockey coats, and buck shoes. Bennett Kistler, who has discovered a new color for burps-burple. I hear the women are going for it. Delores Rhyne, who having driven every car made, new, used, and antique, now drives a fire truck in Baltimore, Maryland. She goes through town so fast everyone thinks she's a flying saucer. Nan Lathan, woman heavyweight champion of the world, who will wrestle at Madison Square Garden. Sara Cloninger, a nationwide fortune teller, will predict everyone's future but her own. Lonnie Norwood, who now holds the title of The Nation's Number One Popular Singer. In fact he has a program of his oyim entitled Looney's No Hit Parade. Bette Garrison, who is modeling for Mr. Bow Legs and Mr. Flat Feet at Freak Town, N. J. Margie Huffstetler, who is the private secretary and accountant for Mr. I. O. U. Millions, Barbara Hollar, who is busily working at the Metro- politan Museum of Art. She iust won one hundred and thirty i-irst places for her original stick figures at a modern art exhibit. Ann Painter, head of the Home Economics Department of Woman's College, Greensboro. Her lecture for tomorrow is How to Boil Water Without Scorching It. Rachel Jones, physical education director at the pick 'em up and put 'em back together gym. She hasn't mar- ried because all her boy friends' mothers are afraid of her. Carl Moore, who has discovered a new wonder drug for tooth decay. He thought it was time something was done since all of his had fallen out. P. I... Black, boxing coach of the Mount Holly Boys' Club. During practice bouts, the kids have knocked him out only eight times. Andy Carpenter, head coach at Harvard University. His greatest riva , of course, is Coach Ted Waldrop of Yale. She specializes in hot rods and stock cars. Donnie Luckey, proprietor of the Luckey Riding Acad- emy. Since she trains the horses herself, you're lucky if you get back alive. 'Lowell York, an accomplished pianist, who is starring with Spike Jones and his Wacky-Wacky-Teers. I Charles Sipe, owner of an upholstering shop where he is now designing the interior of the General Motors sport CSIS. Gerry Smith and Henry Fowler, who are running a close race in the election for Senator. The people can't decide who promises the most. June Fortner, who has her own TB show. Her theme song IS Lavender Coughing. Ruth Stone, owner of a chain of theaters where she shows nothing but her own pictures. Carl Jackson, who settled down and married a girl named Bubbles, They now have a lot of little soap flakes bouncing around the house. Nancy Greene, who is owner of The Greene Home Fm The Aged. Her old classmates seem to keep her in business. Joanne Helms, who is still cooking eggs for the One- and-Only. Before marrying, she served nothing but fresh eggs, now she serves nothing but rotten ones. Pat McDonald, whose Pat McDonald and His Little Feet Patters have monopolized all the programs on tele- vision. Dorothy Huitt, who has found a new way to reduce. Her new product is an electric spot reducer which she sells only to her rivals. You see, it electrocutes you, tool Delores Coleman, who owns The New Open Air Taxi Service of Mariposa. It takes her little ieep to plow through such a crowded city. Luther Hall, Chief Clerk and Mopper for Jones Brothers' Super Market. Every Thursday night you can hear him singing Rag Mop. Frances Farris, news reporter for the New York Times. She was visiting Fort Bragg when she saw Colonel Ray Campbell pushing his weight around the new recruits. Thomas Cauthen, who has iust hopped up a hot rod for the races at Indianapolis Speedway. The only person crazy enough to drive it is none other than Carl Cox. Gerald Guice, professor of Tucltaseege University, wrote a new book entitled The Nit Wits of T. U. Jo Rita Harltey, head bookkeeper for the Forward, Back- ward, and Sideways Company, starts at the back and works to the front. What a life! John Helton, Vice-President of Pan American Airways, already has his feet halfway on the president's desk. Louise McManus, star acrobat for Ringling Brothers' Circus. She is also in charge of training the monkeys. Patricia Patterson, dietitian for Mercy Hospital, .who is doing very well in her work. The patients now realize why they call it Mercy Hospital. Pherdilia Willard, owner of the What Knot Beauty Saloon. She has convinced all her customers that straight hair will be the style for the next I-ive years. June Blanton, chief cook and bottle washer for a member of the opposite sex. She is pretty handy with a can opener. Jo Ann Sigmon, Red Cross Nurse. She is hated for draw- ing so much blood from her donors that she has to give them transfusions afterwards. Perry Spittle is now president of the Goofy Painters Association. He specializes in painting striped houses, striped cars, and especially striped suits for his old class- mates. - Now that we know Who's Who and What's What, we are eagerly anticipating our reunion.
