Students outstanding in character, service, scholarship, and leadership were selected as members of the National Honor Society. Final approval of all candidates was by a faculty committee. QUILL AND SCROLL Exceptional In Journalism And Annual Work The Quill and Scroll Award, the International Honorary Society for High School Journalists, is given for some exceptional phase of annual or newspaper work. MODERN MUSIC MASTERS BOY’S STATE Leadership Acknowledged Boy’s State, an intensive program of study in objective citizenship, was held on the Wake Forest University campus last summer.
