The Highlights of Another Sport Now that everybody has thaw- ed out from the chills of outside sports, namely football, indoor sports begin as the doors are opened for basketball. As the team comes onto the court and does some fancy warm-ups, the cheerleaders get the fans’ at- tention with a victory cheer, possibly even “Battle Cry.” Fast moving is this game of bas- ketball where skill, daily drills, quickness, and a prayer for a little luck are all important. This year the Eagles may have been classifeid as small in size, but they were big in ability. And each player gave of his very best—in the game itself and in sportsmanship.
