East High Concert Band The Concert Band showed its versatility by playing music compositions by the masters of the music field and by playing popular teenage hits. The Band sent members to the All-State Band Clinic at Appalachian State University. The band also prepared music for the State Contest held in April at Greens boro, North Carolina. The year was ended by presentation of concert entitled “Springtime in Song.” 130
