for Fun Outside of Class by Organizations Everyone can find an extracurricular activity to round out his high school life. There are service clubs that link the school with the surrounding communities. For those who like the arts, the Concert Band, Drama Club, and Performing Chorus offer areas of self-expression. The foreign language clubs offer an opportunity to have fun with a language and the people who speak it. Taking a prospective look at the future can be done through the College Club and Junior Achievement. D.E. and I.C.T. students begin establishing their future work by going to school part of the day and working the remainder, often receiving special training on the job. Binding all of the activities of the school together is the Student Govern- ment which is an important beginning in the preparation of our generation for self-government. 32
