East vs. Grimsley Top-ranked Greensboro Grimsley topped East 27-7, be- hind a strong first-period performance. East vs. North The Eagles only scored once as North Forsyth gained a 28-6 victory at Bowman Gray Stadium. The victory was the North gridders’ first over East. East vs. Burlington The Eagles looked strong in a nip-and-tuck battle against Burlington’s Bison, but came out trailing in a 32-28 loss. East vs. Page A strong Page defense kept the Eagles from scoring the points they needed for a victory, leaving a final 14-6 score. The opening-game score was 25-12. East vs. Reynolds The Eagles failed to find a pay-off combination as they were beaten by a 27-point second half by Reynolds, 30-0. East vs. Parkland Alert East turned two pass interceptions into touchdowns, defeating Parkland 20-6 and earning a tie for first place in the 4-A Conference.
