A long time ago, there was a small group, of children which everyone knew would be seniors someday. This group, “THE CLASS OF 86 , began there most exciting years with Mrs. Beichner, in Kindergarten. First grade was the year that everyone thought that they were losing friends, because they seperated the class into two. The girls also started “puppy love this year. Second grade, Connie Caldwell decided to leave our class. Yet in return for Connie, they gave us Jackie Sullivan. This year, we always seemed to be chasing each other outside during recess. Third grade, we had a talent show. The act that everyone still remembers was by Chris Corman, “Tiny Bubbles . We told Chris that when we have our class reunion, she could be our guest of honor if she would sing “Tiny Bubbles. Fourth grade was the year that everyone had the fever for Eddie Hepinger. James Taylor decided to leave our class this year. Our class trip was to Clear Creek. Fifth grade, we were introduced to “Big Bertha . Mr. D always seemed to calm our class down when he'd set the paddle on his deck. Daren Millward joined our class this year, and Laura Bulazo and Jim Timmons left us .. Our class trip was to Salmon Creek, which to this very day is very popular with our class....... Sixth grade, we were at the top of the ladder like this year . . John Lastowski and Johanna Kuhl blessed our class with their presence. During the s Spring Concert the girls were able to show their talents by skating around the gym. When it came time for everyone to show their athletic ability, they had to make a decision between seeing the Pirates playing in Pittsburgh, or going to Slippery Rock to compete in track. The girls' basketball team placed first in the tournament. Seventh grade, we were pushed back to the bottom of the ladder again. Everyone did what the seniors told them to, because they were afraid of what might happen. We went to Drake's Well.
