This book Is a collection Of the memories we’ve shared A mere past reflection For anyone who’s cared. There have been those before us. And those who will follow us, too. Yet most of all to us There has been you . . . We'd like to take this moment To thank you for your time. To show you our gratitude Our love of a special kind. Now we must go; Our time is here. And like us you'll learn. It's just another laugh. Another tear, another memory. Another year . . . . . .As we turn from the past and look to the future, we see many new goals and experiences before us. Yet we know that all the people who have had A Time for Us , still have time. We know that wherever we are, you are supporting us. This is what gives us the strength to succeed. We feel your love and cherish your friendship. We dedicate the 1981 Marien to all the people who have helped us along the way in hopes that they will realize our gratitude. II f Vim Voi Ui A time for us Someday there'll be When chains are torn by courage born Of a life that's free A time when dreams so long denied can flourish As we unveil the truth we now must hide A time for faith. Through tears and thorns We will endure As we pass surely through every storm A time for us Someday there'll be a new world A world of shining hope for you and me A time for us At last to see A life worth while for you and me. On Friday May 16, 1?80, the Dreams of the Junior class started to come true. A castle in clouds donned the entrance of the gym- nasium while opposite, a silvery moon had cap- tured a star to Join us in our celebration. A multi-colored rainbow beamed into the center of the gym while the music continued to en- chant us all. VHien the lights came on we knew that a real world was waiting outside, but it was nice to know that Dreams really can come © © © © © © © © © © © © © © © © d J g i © © © © © © © © © © © _ © (3 PROM Raymond Mazzocchi COURT © 9 and 9 Mike Oliver, Joni Smerk Penny Nesbella Mary Gregory, Steve Siegel ©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©©0©©©©©® IIAXX i wru'i noi ■“■«wi-oX or Juniors Dina Gruey-President Victor Mazzocchi-Vice-President Jacy Millward-Secretary Rhoda McCanna-Treasurer XXIX Dina Gruey Gail Kail Chris Gilbert Mike Kisko Jeff Johnson Tammy Kistler Beth Kimmel Brenda Lambert Donna Henry Tammy Ellis Robin Hanson Penny Lankard XXX John Mashensic Victor Mazzocchi Bonnie Moore Chris Seybert Gary Cochran Doug McCanna Richard Nicklas Rosey Oliver Leslie Skibinski Rhoda McCanna Jacy Millward Rhonda McCanna Mark Nicklas Ralph Sheets XXXI Sophomores Dan Lamison-President Joe Sullivan-V.President Lori Fielman-Treasurer Denise Rodgers-Secretary Paul Andrews Steve Baxter XXXII Ron Ekls Don Gadley Steve Gore Don Kepler Lori Fielman Mike Geyer Mike Flechsig Fat Gregory Ray Gilbert Dean Greer Chris Kuhl Dan Lamison Traci Foulkrod Barb Gillespie Kathy Lastowski XXXIII Dick Russell Lisa Schweitzer Dan Temple Mitzi Zimmerman Jan Montague Mike O’Donnell Beth Oliver Wes McCanna Jeff Motter Brian Pfendler Kim Shaffer Joe Sullivan Philip Nicklas Denise Rodgers XXXIV Donna Gadley Ralph Gadley Kraig Gaston Laura Guianen Sue Guzik Steph Gilbert Marla Karp Brenda Hetrick XXXV Freshmen Lissy Rodgers-President Brian Dworek Kirk Cardone Stephanie Gilbert-Vice-President MaryLou Silvis-Secretary Trade Uzelac-Treasurer Clay Cochran Tracy Andrews Mary Kiiranel Joey Marte Laura Lander chip Linn Kelly McDonald Cindy Miller Lynette Pulit Lissy Rodgers Gary Schrecengost Jean Spates John Spates Brenda Luden Todd Nicklas Tammy Rourke Amanda Spicer XXXVI XXXVII Lisa Andrews Candace Cochran Lori Dworek Sharon Ellis Adam Eck Tammy Robinson-President Candy Cochran-Vice-President Peter Flechsig Chris Lastowski Secretary Eighth Grade Renee Nicklas Treasurer XXXVIII Michael Gore Bill Hetrick Donna McCanna Julie Paine Dick Hetrick Lori Luden Mary Johnson Chris Lastowski Mark Guzik Barb Lamison Randy Miller Steve Miller Renee Nicklas Donna Pisor Tammy Robinson Amanda Rodgers XXXIX Lee Terwilliger Brenda Thacher Sally Thacher j0hn Zimmerman XL SEVENTH GRADE Jackie Sullivan-Secretary Treasurer Todd Boyer Beth Carbaugh V I 'HL Matt Cochran i n1 Chris Cornman XLI Ron Gadley Jim Gesin Shauna Griffith Tye Guianen Tim Kimmel I Joanne Kuhl Brad Long Becky Baslett Daren Millward Debbie Miller David Payne David Pisor Regis Luden Lisa Montague Mitzi Mashensic Dan Nogel XLII Suzanne Pulit Wendy Robinson Tim Russell Michelle Schrecengost XLIII Charlie's rejects!!! The stage at East Forest High School was trans- formed into an exotic replica of the Orient as the Drama Club presented its production of Rodgers and Hanmerstein's Broadway smash-hit The King and I . This musical, based on the novel, Anna and the King of Slam, was well received by the large audiences in attendance both nights. The cast included Reba McDonald, as the English school teacher who came to Slam to teach the King's many children; Wes Henretty, as the somewhat befud- dled King of Siam; Joni Smrek as the King's chief- wife; Clare Bauer, as the delicate Tuptim who was given to the King as a present; Ralph Boyles of Tionesta, as Tuptim's lover; Robbie Pierce, as Anna's Son; Brad Seybert, as the King's son and next-in-line for the throne of Siam; and Forton Remington, also of Tionesta, as the threatening grand vizer. The remainder of the cast, including the King's numerous wives and children, was composed of students from both the elementary and secondary schools.
