Although the time that they all have looked forward to and dreamed of with anticipation, has finally arrived, they seem to dread leaving. They are leaving a very familiar place which they have grown fond of and will always remember. They are also leav- ing many friends, including students and teachers, whom they may never see again, The seniors' chosen careers, whether they be attending college, joining the armed forces, or getting a job, will take them many places where they will meet new friends and have many added re- sponsibilities. Whatever their chosen careers may he, the experience and knowledge they gained at East Fairmont will serve them well. The seniors can happily recall the social events they attended while at high school. They can remember the many dances, football, and basketball games they eagerly attended. Most of all, seniors will remember graduation day, for on this day they will receive diplomas to show for all their endeavors. Not only does it show for hard work but it also shows understanding, patience and co-operation from parents and teachers. 20
