The Council is comprised of student body officers, class piesidents, and homeroom presidents. Projects for this year included the sponsorship of student mixes, the conducting of the citizenship court, support of the East High Band Booster Campaign, serving as hall monitors, selling soft drinks at basketball games and cleaning of the school trophy case. The group was represented at the Tri-County and State Student Council Conven- tions and introduced the National Honor Society to East Fairmont High. Sponsored by Principal W. C. Whaley, the officers of the group are President, Shirley Moran, Vice President, John Bransong Secretary, Carol Morgang and Sgt. at Arms, James Zinn.
