This proved to he a nip and tuclc hall game, hut the Bees came victorious with a 58-57 score, Alderman scoring in the last tive seconds to turn an apparent deleat into a glorious victory. ' 'I' ' Morgantown gave the lans another thriller when they visited East Fairmont and returned home on the top side of a 51-50 score. This also was another fast and furious hall game throughout. S' 'I' 'I' For the third straight time the Bees were engaged in a one point game, hut howed heiore the Victory High Eagtes on the short end of a 47-46 score. The Bees staged a last minute come haclc, hut fell short ol their goal. '1' ' 'I' The Bees went down 'again in defeat hefore Shinnston, on the Spartans home court. This heing the second time this season that Shinnston had turned haclc the Bees. The llinal outcome was 50-41, after a furious hattle. 't' 't' 'l' ln a return game with Nlorgantown, the Bees lost a tough hattle howing heiore the Clydemen hy a 51-28 score latter heing in the lead all the way. 'I' 'I' 'I' The Bees played their second game of the year with Vvest Fairmonfs Bears on the home court hefore a capacity crowd and succeeded in securing revenge for their earlier one point defeat at their hands. The final score stood 50-49, after a furious hattle. This is a more strenuous program than the girls have talcen part in previously. These classes meet daily lor an hour of calisthenics, and games such as basicethall, volleyball, badminton, softball, and ring-tennis. The high light ol the year in girlis basketball was the class tournament. ln the Finals, the juniors topped the sophomores for the championship. The hest all around player was Virginia Biclqerstaiil.
