King, Bennett JUNIOR RED CROSS The Junior Red Cross is a hranch of the Senior Red Cross and their lunc- tions, Joe, are a direct loenefit to you. This year several drives have heen held to further the War effort. ln these they have collected tin cans, coat hangars, and fats: have made scraplooolcs and hed jaclcets for soldiers in hospitals and lcit longs llor overseas soldiers. They sent candles, tooth paste, playing cards, hoolcs, and wash cloth's to the Ellcins Maneuver Area. As a local service they had a Christmas party for the Childrens Shelter. This organization not only heneiits the school and the community, hut is a far-reaching laeneiit to our fighting men on all fronts. ln the national rnemher- ship drive the school was enrolled one hundred per cent.
