9 freshman class the freshman class of east fairmont high school, for the year 1937-1938. is composed of 140 girls and 135 boys. at the first class meeting the following officers were elected: president. rudolph williamsg vice president, bill Willisg secretary, barney vukovichg band sponsor, mary catherine gaskinsg cheer leaders, ruth lee brandon and robert janes. during the class tournament, several prizes were awarded to members of the class. genevieve mitchell received the prize for the best freshman player and louise cain received the prize for the most attractive player. arthur anseline was placed on the boy's all-tournament team as a guard. another outstanding freshman achievement was the play which they presented in assembly.
