B ,s, fi' Members of the Class of 1951 I wish for each of you success and happiness in the years to come A high school education is not a guarantee of success in life but it goes a long long way in that direction Look about you thoughtfully and choose wisely in the work you now undertake Then give to that work the best that is in you Develop sound fundamental principles of life from which you will not swerve for temporary power o personal gain First be sure your methods are moral then be positive in all your human relationships Remember too that you will never 'know it all Sad and bleak is the life that does not recognize that there is a power above and beyond his power to comprehension, power that has a hand in moulding his life. Have faith in that power and try to leave the world a little better for your having passed through it. The three-act comedy by William David- son was produced by The Dramatic Publishing Company. The plot of the story evolved around the senior dance--only ll days away. Jane and Sally had no dates--Jim and George hadn't said a word. But their worries were only beginning, for Sally's houseguest, Marcia, snares one man right after the other with the old go- gettem tactics. That is, everyone except Elroy, constantly practicing the shotput, but who isn't as dumb as he seems. Then the homefront girls get reinforce- ments for Cindy arrives--horn, bow, bag and self. Cindy is a movie fan and ready to solve any problem on the basis of how Ginger Rogers landed Fred Astaire. By the time George and Marcia get back from the show, Cindy has Jane stretched out artistically on the sofa, rigged out in her mother's loveliest negligee, powdered dead white and apparently close of death But Cindy is not through fixing things-- The cast: Jane, without a date for the dance, Florence Jubeck. Sally, her best friend, Patricia Moxie. Agnes, the maid of all work, Anna Mae Figler. Andrew Cutler, Jane's father, Paul Chekeye. Nettie Cutler, her mother, Phyllis Burke. Mr. Ahern, a neighbor, Kirby Decroo. Jim, Sally's boy-friend, William Abra- ham. Rose Tilton, who gets the mumps, Vir- ginia Bednar. Mrs. Tilton, her mother, Dolores Hoch- bein. Josie Tilton, her kid sister, Janice Kuchta. Elroy, who liked to put the shot, Rgbert Kubichan. George, whom Jane is sweet on, Jack Harmon. Marcia, a triple threat from New York, Sylvia Surmik. Cindy Collins, a girl with ideas, Pa- tricia Janosky. Marilyn, who is after Elroy, Dolores Bodnar. Lt. Bob Cunningham, of the Navy, Joseph Misczak.
