Through the years . . . fashions, people, and ways of teaching come and go but for a large part BUILDINGS remain the same. Occasionally buildings may be added, and new windows or doors may be replaced, but the brick and the mortar structures remain the shells of education. ABOVE: Science Hall first constructed in 1909 stands out on East Cen- tral's bare campus. LEF'I': In 1973 Science Hall projects a more finished look with the added appearance of trees and shrubs. ABOVE RIGHT: Newly constructed in the spring of '73 the Robert S. Kerr Activity Cen- ter opened for use in April of 1974. A
