Have you signed up for Freshman Orientation? Enrollment Is Forever! Lines-lines-lines-they seemed endless as students went through enrollment. Beginning freshmen felt they had been properly initiated when they completed the process. Some sophomores and upper classmen, hoping to beat the lines by an early start, arrived at four or five a.m., but found other students who had begun their wait the previous evening. The trying days of enrollment were forgotten, how- ever, with the anticipation of the Tigers' first football game against Lamar Tech of Beaumont, Texas. School spirit was high, both the cheerleaders and football play- ers were encouraged bythe turn-out at the pep rally.
