Spencer MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT To Students, Faculty, and Friends of East Central: Few things in life bring us more joy than recalling past experiences which were pleasant. And what is more pleasant than our college days, when we are making the transition from youth to full manhood and womanhood. The school year 1961-62 has been filled with happy days. We hope that this yearbook has in a measure caught the spirit of these days, and that it will delight us for years to come. With your copy of the yearbook go my hearty congratulations and best wishes. Sincerely yours, fm, Z Charles F. Spencer President DEAN OF INSTRUCTION E. W. james 3-1-....,.,,, ,,.l4+.. This board is thus a constitutional board and consists of nine mem- bers. Eight of the members are appointed by the Governor with the approval of the State Senate for over-lapping nine year terms, and the State Superin- tendent of Public Instruction serves ex officio as the ninth member.
