5e? a tea E ummttww -4 rr ; $ 331$ The purpose of Student Council at ECHS is to encourage student partici- pation in the government of our high school and to promote better relations between students and teachers and students and fellow students. The Student Council hetps promote student leadership, encourages and initiates student view points, organizes elections, and acts as a liaison between the student body and the administration. During the 75-76 school year, Stu- dent Council sponsored the Home- coming Parade and Dance, initiated a discipline program for Convos, and sponsored a spring talent contest. The Student Council of ECHS wishes to extend a warm thanks to Mrs. Rose- mary Woolery and Mr. George Schwipps for their help and leadership given throughout the year. DreVocational Ed. 6? Reading Bab. The Pre-Vocationat Education class is taught by Ms Seymour. The students work very hard on developing their reading skills. Some of their activities this year included visits to Doctor Jacob- son, a veterinarian, the Dearbom County Courthouse, and the site of one of Lincolnts famous speeches, all in Lawrenceburg. They spent a day Christmas shopping at Western Hills Shopping Center, then ate at Davidjs Buffet. Also included in their plans were a visit to the observatory in Cincinnati and other field trips.
