The 197576 French Club was kept busy with its fund raising project of preparing varieties of French food to sell in the cafeteria at noon, These monthly culinary delights included crepes, mousse au chocolat, fondue, and cream puffs. The funds raised were used to sponsor the club's annual visit to a French restaurant in Indian- apolis and for transportation costs to the French Festival in Lafayette. The Festival is a rendez-vous for French students from all over the state of lndi- ana. The E.C.H.S. French Club performed skits, sold French desserts and presented French ver- sions of TV. commercial breaks between the stage performances. The club went to see Marcel Marceau, the famous French Pantomime artist, at Taft Theatre in March, and concluded the school year with a picnic and ttboules't tournament.
