One of the highlights of the spring this year was the first annual talent contest, spon- sored by Student Council. There were many participants. both students and teachers, dis- playing many types of talent ranging from singing, dancing, and music, to poems, mono- Iogues, and much comedy. There was even a pie-eating contest and a three-Iegged race. The acts were judged by a panel of judges, consisting of both faculty and students. Mary Deters was the emcee for the program. First place winners: Dave Smith, John Craft, Monte Dole, Bernice Williams, and Ranay Holliday tmiddle left; Second place: Randy Hesser and Jim Flanigan tnot pictured; Third place was a tie between David Probst ttop left; Judy Farmer tmiddte righo, and Mr. Bear mot pictured; Middle: Emcee Mary Deters. JlRT CBA'Z. AAR The Art Bazaar was held May 16, 1976. There were about 118 items on display, and the Earth Club held a bazaar and made approximately $150. A car- toon carnival was sponsored by the Jr. High Art Club. The 'best of show prize was presented to Joan Beetz. On juried exhibit, first prize went to David Bar- ricklow, second prize to Debbie Ginn, and third prize to Dave Robinson.
