arner again ake up, kid, you're go- ing to be late , shouted most of the seniors' mothers at 5 o'clock in the morning. Form one line, I'm not play- ing , said Mr. Vee as we lined up. All you heard while everyone loaded up was where's the doughnuts? , and then it rained. As we got on the road, the trip seemed to take forever. Maybe it was because we hit a top speed of 45 mph. Miss, I got to go to the bathroomg Miss, are we almost there'? . These were the sounds we all heard. Of course, if you were asleep, who cared. When we got on the road, I really thought that the trip was going to be a mess because of the rain, but it really turned out great, Kenny Carraway said. Anyway, with 30 minutes left to go, the sun came out, it looked great, soon after the storm hit. While there we unloaded the doughnuts and ate. After that the seniors were turned loose in the rain. Seniors were everywhere. In the water, on a boat, or on a mountain. As the rain came down, I'm sure people wondered Would it ever stop? Well, believe it or not, it did. It was perfect Catching a few rays while watching the football game, these senior girls seem to enjoy the break. Football was just one of the games the seniors played. After a hard day at Garner, Kenny Caraway crashes out due to the fact that he ate eight pieces of chicken and got two hours of sleep the night before. 28 . . . Senior Trip timing, just in time for the chicken, all 2100 pieces of it. Seniors came from miles away just from hearing three words, The chicken's here . So everything went smoothly after lunch. It turned out to be a great day. Of course, the highlight of the day was seeing Mr. Vee get thrown in the river. By 2:30 we were all set to leave. After the long haul back, we finally pull- ed in the parking lot at 5:30. We slowly unloaded and went home. Thus ending another chapter in the life of a senior at East Central . 2 gpg' 1 e
