Getting out efinition of a weekend by Webster. Weekend QWek'end'ln. Period extending from Friday night or Saturday morning, until Sunday night or Monday morning. So what does this mean? Simple, three days of going out or staying home and resting. So what did you do? Where did you go? Well, here are a few ideas given by students on what you could've done on weekends. First of all, if you're on restriction a lot, this story is not for you. Now keep in mind, these were not the only things to enhance your weekend. lf you had a car, some money, and a lot of gas, why not spend your time driving around? You'd be surprised by the creative things to do in San Antonio. If you don't mind the crowds, go to the mall. Satur- day afternoon is when l like to go to the mall, I think North Star is my favorite, said An- drea Morales. Sometimes peo- ple want to go dancing. lf you liked country music, Bluebon- net or Cestahowa were good places to go. If you liked new wave or punk music there were many places to go such as Images, Mr. Gs and the Bone Club. Usually on Friday or Satur- day, l like to go to lvlr. Gs and dance and meet people, said Louis McDonald, senior. For those of you who didn't like to dance, why not go to a late movie at the Galaxy or Windsor mall? Gne of the best was The Rocky l-lorror Pic- ture Show . After that, if you were hungry, go where everyone would be, Whataburger or El Tipico.
