J obs shin s the school year passed by in a wistful whirlwind of excitement, the counselors and paraprofessionals looked back in pride. Counselors helped the students decide what classes they should take and what they should do after they had graduated. t'VVe all enjoy working with all students, Karen Honeycutt, head counselor, said. There were different paraprofessional jobs. There were secretaries, attendance aides, and ottice aides, but each one had an individual and important job here. We all work together and take pride in our work, Mag- gie Johnson, said. Cafeteria workers and janitors also had an important job. Cooking for the teachers and students and keeping the i H V. .tty . Zfzrifftr' a I jf' . M 5. V .' , school sparkling clean were big and time consuming jobs. During part of the morning till the end of the last lunch food was being prepared for everyone. As the food disap- peared into thin air, the cafeteria workers made more for the next batch of craving stomachs. l've been here for 12 years and I enjoy the faculty and the students, assistant cafeteria worker, Carol Wielding, said. With food and students there came a mess. The floors that were once gleeming clean were now enhanced with tea and tater tot crumbs. Before school and after school janitors were mopping, cleaning, dusting, and keep- ing the campus clean. All of the jobs were hard, but were also productive ones during the memorable Glory Days.
