Luck-stricken Traci Allen knew the feeling when she was crowned Princess of the Court of Mystic Africa last November. Fleigning princess for one year, her duty was to ride on a float in the Cotton Bowl Parade in Dallas. I also got a free ticket to the Cotton Bowl football game. lt was cold, but fun! , in she said. She was nominated by a friend who was duchess the year before, but says that she already knew she won because they had to notify me about five months in ad- vance so I would have time to make the dress and train. Traci was in Honeybees, Campus Life, French Club, and Centurions for Christ. From the Lutheran churches in San Antonio and surroun- ding cities, approximately 15 girls were chosen each year.
