Members if I dwlndle here was a time, it seems like years ago, when every club had an abun- dance of members. You could walk into any club meeting and be lucky to find a seat for the extraordinary number of members gathered. This was when students got out of class to attend their meetings. But this year House Bill 72 struck students down, like a well-delievered sledge ham- mer blow to the cranium. Those days are dead. For some reason when students were no longer get- ting out of class to attend club meetings the membership of Helping to build up the spirit on cam- pus is a fun job. Rhonda Williams is showing her spirit by helping to decorate the yearbook staff's wall dur- ing spirit week. Do-si-doing here are Deanna Smiley and Blain Perez. The Spanish Club does many recreational things, Learn- ing how to dance like they do in far away places is always fun. many clubs dropped to less than astronomical. This is shocking. Could it be that some zany students were just joining clubs to get out of class for the meetings? How could this be? The scoundrels must have gotten a shock when the new rule book put a stop to this free loading ac- tion. Now-a-days to walk in on a group of students that want to be a part of the club bad enough to attend on their own time. The club membership may have dwindled to the peo- ple who really want to be there. fb as N129
