You guessed it, boys and girls. l'm talking about Contests. Can you say competition? I thought you could. Nothing l like better than a couple of clubs butting heads in a serious competi- tion. Especially if they win. But winning isn't everything. After all the clubs don't train and practice and practice and practice to go lose in competi- tions with other schools, now do they? l tend to think not. Every club sponsor lays down to sleep at night with dreams of their club winning big at contests growing in their minds. Some of the winning clubs this year were l-loneybees, Band, ICT, OEA, and Agriculture. That's just to name a few, the list goes on. Yes, there sure were a lot of smiling sponsors. Sure, some of the clubs lost, but that was due to the lack of members. Yes, that's the beauty of con- tests, the thrill of victory, and the agony of defeat, and just the all around excitement of competition. lt's an intense learning experience for the club members everywhere. . s ' ' ,V ?
