The Honeybees are raising their funds by washing cars. Shirley lvlarkowski soaps the hood and wind- shield. The group spent many hours at car washes. Mone ave you ever felt like you wanted to eat 72 glazed donuts? l know I have. Haven't you ever wanted to spend hundreds of dollars on baked goods? That urge hits me sometimes. I'm sure there has been a time when you wanted to eat snow cones until your lips froze. I often do. Because people have these cravings for miscellaneous perishable goods, the masterminds behind the clubs hold fun- draisers selling anything from cup cakes to breakfast tacos. Actually the reasoning behind the fundraisers was not to satisfy the hunger of the student body, but more likely to make money for the clubs. However, you didn't hear that from me. Food sales weren't the only way the clubs made money. The clubs held car washes to make money for the cause. So when your car col- lected enough dirt to classify as filthy, or when your stomach was growling vicious- ly keep the club fund raisers in mind. l'll bet you're wondering what these clubs are going to do with all your hard earned cash, aren't your? Well, they're going to save the money to pay expenses that clubs have, or they might help students attencl a workshop. So rest assured your money is appreciated and well spent. Selling buenelos is an original change. These hungry students got a surprise when their growling stomachs were answered by these sugary treats. 116. . .Clubs this
