Fi -ff, . ' y flaster and Mistress of Ceremonies at EC coronation, Cindy Liverett and larry Evans. r The East Central Student Council megan its busy year with the election of lfficers. Melodye Sligh and Mike yiopecki were elected president and vice-president prior to the beginning of he year. Q The first big project for the Student Council was Homecoming, Oct. 24. Vfums were sold and plans were made 'or the half-time performance. For the irst time all four classes were involved n the Homecoming court. November vas the month for the Coronation of Mr. and Miss E. C. and the first carnival in fifteen years. In Dec. the Student Coun- cil sponsored an Administration Ap- preciation Banquet. Jan. and Feb, were spent selling Hornet emblems. March was the month for East Central's first Jr. Olympic games. The Student Council also sponsored Flower Day. The flowers were taken to Four Seasons Nursing Home.
