Farm Skills Team partic- ipated in the farm skills contest spon- sored by the San Antonio City Public Service Board. Sr. and Jr. divisions plac- ed first in the contest. The results from the District Leader- ship Contests were: Jr. Chapter Con- ducting placed second, Talent and Radio placed third. Showmanship awards at the 10th an- nual East Central Stockshow went to Danny Frerich, beefg Mike Kopecki, lambg and Clifton jansky, swine. Awards went to Gary Valentine and Donald Henze for Grand and Reserve Cham- pion Steer and Beef Animals of the show. Grand Champion Swine went to Anton Shadrock. Reserve Swine went to Penny Brooks. Grand Champion Lamb went to Mike Kopecki. Reserve Lamb went to Lynette Branecky and Grand Champion Turkey went to Sandra Fre- rick. The annual district banquet was held March 31 and the East Central F. F. A. banquet was held May 1. F. F. A. 55
