The main objective is to teach the girls actual office secretarial techni- ques. During the year the girls had such money making projects as selling calen- dars, Christmas cards, and candy. The money paid for their annual banquet as the Hacienda Dinner Theater. Parents were guests of the club. February 28 VOE-OEA sent five girls to contest with Eloise Creswell coming back with a first place in Extem- poraneous Speaking. She then went on to Regional. Earlier in the year Barrett Richter-Cement Finisher, Mark Shaw-Motorboat Mechanic, and Louis Talamantez-Mechanic Maintenance received a First, First, and Second in Area Contest, respectively.
