Betty Gray and her Senior English classes recreated a day in the Middle Ages as a part of their study of THE CANTERBURY TALES. On Can- terbury Tales Day, students attended school dressed in authentic medieval costumes. lVlrs. Lou Williains' Home and Family Living classes prepared a medieval feast. Dishes such as Chawd- wyn, a dish of chopped liver, animal blood, bread crumbs and spices was served along with i'blancmanger which is white meat of chicken with spices and jelly. Nladrigal singers and band mem- bers playing llutes, drums, and trumpets provided the music. The Canterbury Tales Day was given coverage by three television stations and two newspapers.
