A. was held October 21, 1949, at the East Central High School Auditorium, with a charter membership of 103. The P. T. A. has sponsored three projects: On December 24, 1949, eleven Christmas Baskets were distributed. A pie supper was held on February 10, 1950, for rais- ing funds with which to purchase new books to add to the school library. 5295.36 was raised. The Home Room Mothers sponsored an Arbor lay Program, March 17, 1950. Children of the grades contributed 10 cents each for purchasing and planting trees in the grade school yard.
