Put those hidden talents with a little daring, and what do you have? Why, the Mess Pageant of course. It was Wednesday night, and the house was packed. Anxious stage mothers helped contes- tants with last minute prepara- tions as the sounds of Oh, l've got a run in my panty hose, and ls my rouge on straight? filled the dressing rooms. Talent ranged from a roller skating exhibition to vocal impressions and a Serenade to an alien life form.
