Although many improvements have been made in the physical plant, the most significant thing to me is the growth of you, the student. The success of E, C, J, C, during this school year can be measured only by the contribution that the college has made toward promoting your development of good habits, your development of intellectual capacities, and your development of positive attitudes toward life. Judging of East Central's contribution can best be made a few years hence when you have taken your place among the leaders of this community and of this nation.
