I had not looked at it in many years. This proved to be a very interesting and revealing ex- perience. I was amused at the pictures of what were very well dressed young folks thirty years ago. Styles certainly have changed during the time. I was surprised to see how youthful my former Fellow students and I appeared to be. l just can not believe I ever looked that young. Distinguished citizens of today looked very immature to me in that annual. Some of the narrative material was very amateurish, very delightful and interesting. I got a real kick from reading it. I was so surprised to see how much the University had grown, when I compared the present with the earlier day. Iwas pleased to compare the present accomplishments of my fellows with their stand- ing informer days. Some of them have lived up to the high promise they had then. Many have really come out. They matured and developed with the years. Some of them have become, on the surface at least, just another person. Many of them have passed on. That was a surprise and caused a sadness of heart. I hope thirty years from now you will get out the l952 Wo-He-Lo and enjoy living again the interesting days we have had together. Let us hope the college will continue to grow. Ihope you can enjoy what will appear to you then to be very adolescent activ- ities shown in this book. Icertainly hope all of you will then be active, useful, community minded citizens- -serving God, your family, and country. Sincerely, J fl ,f ,' I 'H V , ,,,f X ,JL XL. O. Todd Prbjside nt kk wmv?
