PRESIDENT flbzaahu, ifilssluifzfpi May 15, 1951 Message From The President: The year 1950-51 has been a significant year in the life of East Central Junior College. It has been primarily significant because it has been a year in the lives of the people who work and live together as students and staff. The year has been significant in that we have seen many improvements in the physical plant. This will be known as the year that the Student Center first was opened and we all know what it has meant to us. This is the year that - - we had the new cafeteria and that has been a most outstanding addition. This is the year that -- we have added additional rooms in Jackson Hall and in which other improvements in that building were made. This is the year that- - we had the Gymnasium enlarged and improved. This is the year that-- many improvements were made in the men's dormitories. This is the year that- - additions were made in the Agriculture Department. This is the year that-- we have had the largest enrollment in the history of the college and the largest increase from one year to the next. This is the year that- - we had more student leadership in student and college affairs of the college to date. This all means that East Central Junior College is a live and growing institu- tion.
