SCHOOL OF BUSINESS Today ' s businessmen can look forward to hir- ing those who graduate from the East Carolina College School of Business. This School of Busi- ness claims the distinction of being the first to offer an approved course in executive technique under the auspices of the Southern Institute of Management and the American Institute of Management. To educate men and women for positions of leadership in the business life of North Carolina is the primary purpose of the School of Business. In conjunction with this purpose the School offers specialized and thorough training in areas of busi- ness administration and secretarial science. DEAN E. R. ART Now art students may work toward a M.A. degree in the Art Department of East Carolina College. Further, this college claims the distinc- tion of having the only Art Department east of Woman ' s College which gives the comprehensive graduate work that our Art Department offers. Special activity courses offered are ceramics, gra- phics, sculpture, crafts, textiles, and painting. College facilities are utilized to exhibit and sell students ' works. DR.
