EVENTS! It Was the Year 1957, th of East Carolina College College events this year centered around the observance of the golden anniversary of the establishment of East Carolina College. While the following anniversary features do not portray nearly all the events of the spring and fall of ' 57, they do represent several of the major happenings which marked the commemoration of the 50 Years of Progress. From homecoming to the major playhouse pro- ductions, every activity on campus celebrated the fiftieth year.
