DEAN RUTH A. WHITE The office which is primarily concerned with the affairs of our women students is under the leadership of Miss Ruth A. White. Dean White ' s office has charge of all housing for women students. Through this office the fresh- man women are helped in bridging the gap be- tween high school and college life. Miss Ruth Garner, Counselor for Fleming Hall; Miss Nancy Wilmore, Jarvis Hall Coun- selor; Mrs. Helen A. Snyder, Counselor for resi- dents of Cotten Hall; Miss Hazel Clarke, Fresh- man Advisor; Mrs. Estella A. Striplin, Wilson Hall Counselor and Miss Kathleen Venters, Dormitory Housekeeper; all make up Miss White ' s highly efficient staff.

DEAN OF STUDENTS The Dean of Students, one of the most important positions on the College campus is held by Dean Leo W. Jenkins. This office handles the social calen- dar, class excuses and is also the major link between class- room and extracurricular activ- ities. r TPF - Jm DR. LEO W. JENKINS, DEAN OF STUDENTS DR. CLINTON R. PREWETT, DIRECTOR OF STUDENT PERSONNEL DIRECTOR OF STUDENT PERSONNEL In addition to being Dean of Men, Dr. Clinton R. Prewett is also Director of Student Per- sonnel. His office directs dorm- itory accommodations for men, part-time employment and with- drawals for male students. Dr. Prewett is also a willing per- sonal consultant for any student problem.

This problem is handled by Dr. J. L. Oppelt, our Placement Bureau Director. DR. ED J. CARTER To the high schools in our own and surrounding states, the merits of our excellent college are carried by Dr. Ed J. Carter, Director of Field Service. F. D. DUNCAN The job of managing the College funds is handled by our Treasurer and Business Manager of the College, Mr. F. D. Duncan. His office is comparable, in efficiency, to that of the F. B. I. DR. ORVAL L. PHILLIPS We owe our thanks to Dr. Phillips for keeping our class schedules straight and getting out grades. His job as Registrar of the College keeps him busy long after office hours. DR.
