ia s 1 PRESIDENT ' S MESSAGE Dear Students: Your having been with us for four years demonstrates the fact that you came with a purpose and you will soon realize your objective. Upon your generation rests a great responsibility to uphold the Christian, democratic way of life we cherish and to promugate its principles in all your endeavors. You are fortunate to have been born in America and to have the opportunity to get a liberal education. The extent to which that education will be of benefit depends entirely on you. You are richer in education and experience because of your four years in college and you therefore, owe a greater debt to the world; you should exert every effort to see that your environment is made better because of your presence. Strive to succeed in your chosen work, but in all things exemplify the Golden Rule in practice. There is great need for leadership to bring peace out of chaos and joy out of sorrow; your Alma Mater expects you to assume a place of leadeiship. Be assured it will always be interested in your suc- cess and ready to help you in any way possible. Fraternally yours,
