PR CIPA Lis' MESSA GE To the Class ot I967: Throughout your lite you will find learning the reflection of living. From every experience ot living comes learning. A delegate to the United Nations once wrote, When you stop learning, you stop living in any vital and meaningful sense. And the purpose of life, atter all, is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience. K Q in Now you are shaping your life. This process will not end. The choices you make are your respon- sibility. Thus I ask you to learn every moment of your life. You will discover as your mind and being grow you will in reality be learning to live. As commencement approaches may I say l am proud of you. I wish you Iife's best. It will be yours if you now commence an adulthood of learning and living. Raymond A. Hamilton Principal

To the Class of 1967: Your high school graduation is a day charged with excitement, anticipation, and happiness. You've made it. And I congratulate each of you for the effort that brought you through your high school course. lf any single event marks your entrance into the adult world it is your graduation from high school. Until now you have been guided, counseled, advised and perhaps been controlled a little more than you thought necessary. But whatever path you take from now on, you will be a great deal more on your own than you have ever been in your life. You will face a great many more decisions alone, and you will be responsible for the results of these decisions. In my closing thought to the Class of 1967 may l say that the truly successful men and women of the world first mastered themselves before they tried to master business, government, the law, or whatever their personal dreams lead them to. They learned what is probably the most profound truth men have discovered in the history of organized society. . .that the truly successful man or woman must be able to get along with other people. This ort is the keystone to all success. Stanley B. Goldman Superintendent of School S PERI TENDENTS' MESSAGE
