dmz4af'46 This year, more than ever before, has seen the Junior Class of Fast Bethlehem make a success of any activity it entered. The class joined whole-heartedly into anything put before it. Dances and bond raflles contributed greatly to the class fund, but the main activity was the Junior Class Play, f'Cheese Cottage, held on March 16. The largest crowd ever to witness a play at our school attended. Of course, the culmination of the year was the Prom, held on May 10, with music by Lee Barret and his orchestra. We hope to make our Senior Year as successful as this year has been. x-23 Rofw One: Alice Batterby, james Hawkins, jack Powers, Nina jean Hannen, Margaret Stay, Owen Davies. of '47 The morning of October 19, 1944, boasted a very excited Sophomore class. The rumor was that the officers of the class were to be elected at a meeting that day. That was a rumor, and by the end of the day the oHicers were as follows: President, Richard Birch, Vice President, Joel Meikrantzg Secretary and Treasurer, Dorothy Saladna. Of course, the only thing that the Sophomores had to decide was the preparation for the annual Freshman-Sophomore Party. The Stardust Cadets, the newly formed school orchestra, played for the first time, and everyone enjoyed himself.
