The time has come for you to take inventory and look seriously ahead. The education thus far received should serve as a whetstone to polish and sharpen natural tal- ents. lt should develop thinking power and enhance your mental, moral and spiritual outlook in general. The training habits formed during the high school years are the foundation upon which a good sound adult life is built, and are indicative of future capabilities. Record of studies, leadership, cooperation and extra cur- ricular activities is a definite measurement of poten- tial abilities. Education is a gilt edged bond which yields a lifetime of benefits. Many of you will be entering the second period of your economic life, that of work. Classes in the past met an economic world enslaved in a bitter depression, void of opportunities. Today's classes will meet a world clam- oring for the best you have to offer. You have but one life, think well. It is not who you are, or what you will be, but what you can do that counts.
