By winning the State Class A Tournament at Morgantown they were officially named WEST VIRGINIA STATE CHAMPIONS. An additional honor won during the regular season was the winning of the co-championship of the strong Kanawha Valley Conference. East Bank placed two players on the All-Tournament team at Morgan- town, Captain jerry West and Guard jack Landers. The years record of 22 wins and 5 losses is shown below.
