We did not think we'd ever find Our way from room to room, But everyone was very kind And vanished all our gloom. Our junior year was full of glee, Laughter, fun and all the rest, And filled with confidence were we, We felt our school was the very best. Then we started our senior yea.r, There our dream began to grow, And, when we knew graduation was near Our he arts began to glow. Our dream, at last, is now so near, And we feel frightened and alone, Again we 're filled with doubts and fe ar, Because we know we 're on our own. But soon our fears and doubts will flee, And, if fate does her part, Our dream will become a reality And live forever in our he art. By: Elizabeth Morgan The Kanawhan, 1956 Page Twenty seven
