This is a good record considering the fact that they had very little time for individual practice. Their time was spent working agaainst the Varsity. Page Varsity Team FIRST Row: Verl Smith, Lloyd Tincher, Ralph Conner, Kenneth Dolan, Capt., Richard Martin, Patrick Linkous, Paul Green. SECOND Row: Roy E. NVilliams, Coach, Basil Harless, jack Allen, YVilliam Dellinger, John Holt, Mike Holt, john VVhite, Mgr., james Rader, Mgr. East Bank High School, after starting slow by losing four Kanawha Valley Conference games, finished third behind Clendenin and Stonewall. In games played out of conference East Bank broke even, winning from Hunting- ton Central and Oak Hill while losing to Wheel- ing and Beckley. As the year went on East Bank progressed enough to avenge all of its defeats of the first half of conference play. In tournament play, after winning Section 23, the boys lost out in the finals of Region 6 to Stonewall. The 1950-51 team composed of juniors and sophomores should be a team-to-beat in the next season. The loss of four senior members, including Captain Dolan, will be felt only in the reserve list.
