Q Dedication... HIS YEAR the Kanazvlwn is dedicated to the many friends of the East Bank High School, particularly friends of the athletic department who contributed in any Way toward the score board recently erected at Calvert Field. Sponsored as a civic improvement by Cabin Creek Rotary Club, generous support and con- tributions were also received from East Bank Lions Club, Chelyan Lions Club, Cedar Grove Lions Club, East Bank VVoman's Club, Cabin Creek XVoxnan's Club, East Bank High School Faculty, American Legion Post No. 80 of Cabin Creek, along with contributions from many individuals. The only individual contribution noted here is the gift of 3100.00 from Mrs. Isabella Calvert ofmChelyan to the memory of her son, XVilliam L. Calvert, a former Director of Athletics in East Bank High School and an officer in the United States Navy at the time of his death, and to whose memory the athletic field is dedicated. Page Seven
