VVritten by HAY ,IOHNSON VVc're gathered here to say good-bye, To all this happy throng, But let's not say good-bye, Lets just say-so long. Think back now of those good times VVhen we had just begun- To get acquainted with the chimes OE sophomores liaving fun. But then, the ordeal came, Our first semester tests. So we erununed-and tried to tame The lessons. You know the rest. 'Sonic how we got by. Our junior year to come. Wliiine. we thought, would surely Hy And then we'd have our fun. But time went on, as alwavs. Our junior year went fast.. And then we thought of different ways 'l o make thc next year last. 'lihen came our one big year- The year we were to take Our undcrclassinen by the ear . f'Xnd show them how to make- A better school, an better time, Of those seven hours a day, That we spend at East Bank High.
