Page Eight i?4? K As one approaches adulthood through the years of adolescence, a most desirable outcome is that of self reliance or a disposition to depend more and more on his own efforts and decisions. It is during these formative years that he develops as an individual. It is the purpose of the school to contribute toward the realization of that aim. Early in life one must be disposed toward self support, with the proper potentiality of earning a livelihood. Most people work for others rather than being self employed. Thus, it is necessary to acquire and develop the proper attitudes and dispositions toward employment, .in order that one may endeavor to live comfortably and well. It is the purpose of the school tocontribute toward the realization of that aim. Family life and the home are important items in the life of everyone. The progress and safety of our nation, the perpetuation of our way of life, and the attainment of aspirations and ideals rests on the integrity of the home-everyone's home. It is the purpose of the school to contribute toward the realization of that aim. Somewhere along the way one develops a point of view toward life, a philosophy which will guide him in his personal activities as well as in his relationship with other people. That philosophy should be such that it will provide for full development of his capabilities, his opportunities, and his sense of responsibility in order that his life may contribute in fullest measure to himself, his family, his associates, and the American Way. It is the purpose of the school to contribute toward the realization of that aim. ' KZ,
